Where are you based?

I mostly work from my home office in South Wales, or from co-working spaces across Caerphilly, Cardiff and Pontypridd. However, due to the nature of my work – I can work from anywhere!

Will you build backlinks to my site?

Backlinks are only one piece of a much bigger puzzle. Yes, my SEO strategy includes backlinks, but it forms a small part of a larger overall strategy.

There are over 200 different ranking factors used by Google. Backlinks are just 1 of those factors. 

Building backlinks using almost any method is not advised by Google as it’s seen as a form of manipulation.

It’s very important to consider who the backlink is from and in what context they’ll be linking to you. Only certain backlinks have positive implications for your search engine ranking, these are the ones which have the most relevance and are the most natural.

Many SEO practitioners still use bad practice to build links, known as black-hat SEO

This is why backlinks are a contentious topic for SEO practitioners. Historically, they were a very important part of SEO and they remain important to this day. However, backlinks can be as equally damaging as they are helpful.

Can you help me recover from a Google penalty?

Yes, I am experienced in helping websites recover from manual penalties in Google Search Results.

This often happens when businesses have hired unscrupulous marketing agencies who engaged in bad link-building practices on their behalf. Unbeknownst the to customer, this actually damages their online reputation.

Sometimes, websites are penalised by Google for duplicate content without realising their out-of-date CMS is generating multiple pages of the same content.
